I ordered the custom image with the protrusions option and it came in as expected. I wanted to confirm with customer service and they affirmed that the protrusions will be placed where they should be. Even though there are no guides for them when uploading the image, so don't worry about that if you have concerns about it before placing the order.
The print quality is great. Colors are vivid with no fading/blur anywhere. It grips my desk as a good mousepad should and the padding is comfortable for me.
Just a heads up for future buyers. I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone. But it took about 3 weeks for me to receive my order after placing it. So don't expect to get it within a week or so.
